Jacqueline Kolompar is a talented and seasoned professional makeup artist based in Los Angeles, with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Jacqueline’s career began with mentorship from two Special Makeup FX legends, Howard Berger and Greg Nicotero, at KNB EFX Group in the role of Assistant Project Coordinator, contributing to the life casting department and gaining invaluable one-on-one mentorship from Howard Berger.

 

Following the FX house's hiatus, Jacqueline expanded her skill set by working in the music industry as a PA for renowned record producer Bill Bottrell, who’s work with  Michael Jackson and Sheryl Crow left a lasting influence. However, makeup was never far from Jacqueline’s heart, and realized her true passion lay in makeup artistry. After years in the music world, she returned to her roots, reuniting with mentor Howard Berger to continue refining her craft which lead to solidifying her position as a Union Makeup Artist.

 

Through dedication and hard work, Jacqueline excelled in the world of film and TV, eventually rising to the position of Makeup Co-Department Head/Asst. Co-Department Head. With an extensive and diverse portfolio, Jacqueline is excited for the future and is committed to building a long-lasting career in the makeup industry, continuing to bring artistry and professionalism to every project.
